That night I felt my head spinning around everything what was happening and as Santiago Fernández and Carlos Piñeiro were open to collaborate, I had the idea to create one MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) between the IML (Institute of Modern Languages) and the Inditex Chair, thinking they signed it before their travel back to Spain. I sent one email to them asking about the timing of their flight and wondering if we could meet before they left to talk about the MoU, but Carlos Piñeiro replied me informing that their flight was going to leave half an hour later, at 9:30am, so it was better to send to them the MoU by e-mail and they´d return it to us signed once they had reviewed and discussed about it. I showed the draft of the MoU to the Head of the Department, we corrected some points and we sent the final draft to them on 18th October and, as we didn´t receive the acknowledge receipt of it, I sent one email asking if they had received it correctly or not and Mr. Santiago Fernández Mosquera excused their delayed answer informing they were very busy with the travel coming back Spain and he told me they had received the MoU and when they had something discussed and clear about the text, they´d review it and forward it to us signed.
Around 19th October 2011, when I am just to leave the IML, one student calls me and asks me to come closer. He asks if I am Spanish teacher and I say yes and then he asks me what is the meaning of one banner which was hold in the informative panels of the IML, just in front of us. I read it and I realize it is one add put by the four teachers of the Inditex Chair, advertising they are giving some open classes, informing to the possible new students about their courses and objectives. I explain to the student what it was and he tells me he´s interested in joining one of these classes but he doesn´t know where is the center of the Inditex Chair. I inform him he has to go through the stairs behind us until the second level, but as I see the student has poker face, I think it´s a good idea to bring him personally to the center. We come upstairs and the student comes inside one class which is started right in this moment by one of the teachers. I stay for a while talking to the other professors who are in the meeting room and I leave five minutes later.
Two days later is fixed one meeting with all the committee members of the IML for the incoming 23th October and one day later another letter is published informing the meeting has been postponed to 27th. In the same day I received a letter from the VC of the University of Dhaka inviting me to one meeting in his room the same 27th at 4pm. In that moment I understood the change of the date of the first meeting.

On 27th October 2011 my two colleagues and me atend the meeting with the committee of the IML, meeting where is decided that the Administration office have to contact to the 250 students were out of enrollment, because they have their data and personal phone numbers in their applications and that the Spanish Department have to follow with their student without sharing them with the Inditex Chair. The Director, in his first time, understands what is the size of the problem and he supports this decision. I leave for one of my classes and in one break, while my two colleagues and me were in the room of the Department, the Director of the IML comes and informs us the VC has called to his office and the fixed meeting at 4pm would be held in our classroom, with my students, and they have to stay there until this moment, one hour later. The Head of the Department, astonished with the new, asks me to come back my class and to inform my students about the taken decision. I tell my students about everything what´s happening and which are the last decisions taken by the VC´s room: they (the students) are going to drop out our course in the Spanish Department and they are going to follow as students of the Inditex Chair. After one long silence while my students are trying to understand what I have said, they say they can´t understand anything. They start to make questions like What is doing one company dedicated to the confection of garments giving Spanish classes in the University of Dhaka? Are they allow to teach Spanish in the IML? Who has had the idea to "share" the students of the Spanish Department if they can start with the students were out of enrollment in our Department? I try to answer all these questions and in this moment comes suddenly the Director of IML, entering without asking for permission and shutting my words with his own, informing the students that the VC would come around 4pm and they had to stay there in the classroom. The Director asks me to forgive him for breaking so my class and he says we meet later, and he leaves. My students, in this moment, realize everything is true and what aspect is taking the situation and they tell me not to be scared because they are not going another place out of my classes because they will finish their course in the Spanish Department of the IML. I become dumb. I ask to them to wait for Mr. Arefin Siddique, the VC, and I come back to the office room to inform my two colleagues about what my students have said, and in this moment, one officer comes from the Director´s room and informs us the VC has called to the Director´s room asking to come to his office in the Rectorate building with all my students. And we do it.

Once in the meeting room of the VC, when we are all sat, the VC comes in with Amparo Porta Rivas, Karim, another Inditex member and the four teachers of the Inditex project, and when they are introducing themselves, somebody informs to Mr. Siddique the Spanish Ambassador to Bangladesh just reached and the VC leaves the room to receive him, coming back after one short while. Then, being present all the members the meeting starts and the VC asks to the teachers and students to introduce themselves shortly. When the introductions are finished, Amparo Porta reads out one short text about the importance of the Spanish around the world, then His Excellency the Spanish Ambassador is glad to listen to her words and repeats the same what she said with other words, in his own speech. Then, after it, the VC gives the turn to talk to Karim and asks him to explain what´s the purpose of the Inditex chair in the University of Dhaka: as Bangladesh is the second manufacturer country that Inditex have all around the world, they thought it was a great idea to start a project as the Inditex Chair to return the favour and giving to the country the possibility to learn Spanish in Dhaka University. Then the VC adds that it is a big chance for the students because from some time ago until now the number of Spanish companies and organizations for the development has been increasing in Bangladesh in a extraordinary way, so the students have the chance to use the Spanish for finding a good job, and finishes his speech jocking and telling he´s feeling few bad because he doesn´t still know Spanish and Amparo Porta finishes the joke telling "Still no". In this moment Mr. Siddique gives the turn to talk to the Head of the Spanish Department to explain how´s the structure of the Department and what kind of courses we offer. My another colleague starts to talk explaining also the importance of the Spanish around the world and specially in Bangladesh, and after his speech the Head of the Department starts to talk, following the explanation, and when I am expecting the VC will give me the turn to talk, he looks at the Director of the IML and asks him to explain the conclusions we had had in the meeting held in the morning, and he informs that, as the VC already knows, the Spanish Department just could admit to 120 students out of around 365, what means about 250 students were left out of enrollment, and as their personal data are in the application forms in the register of IML, they could contact to them and in this way they could enroll with the Inditex Chair. Mr. Arefin Siddique adds it´s a good idea but also we should have clear the idea that as the center for the Inditex Chair and our Department are both teaching the same there´s no distinction nor between teachers nor students, so both centers we have to "share" our students and the academic knowledge, as, moreover, we both are working in the same building. Then, in this moment, one of my students asks for her turn to talk and the VC gives it to her, and she informs him they are one month and a half learning Spanish in my classes, they are enjoying with my special way of teaching and, the most important, they are learning too many things, and if finally they change the teacher and the methodology, it will shift them, becoming a very hard change for them, and the VC says that it will not shift them because they will learn the same language with one teacher or with another and my student repeats again that of course it was going to destroy their learning of the Spanish, but her speech was shut because the Spanish Ambassador, realizing the problem was created, asks to the Director of IML when the Inditex Chair could enroll the students were out of admission in our Department, and the Director, having into account the Eid-ul-Azah vacations and the hard work was supossed for contacting to 250 students and their enrollment procedure, says it could be possible around January. Mr. Siddique, looking at Amparo´s frustated face, says to the Director it is impossible to wait for such long time, and everything has to be set for the half of November. In this moment another student asks for the turn to talk and Mr. Siddique gives it to him. My student stands and says it is very important to count with native teachers, because the pronuntiation and the way of teaching is totally different, and the VC, before leting him to follow, comments he´s right, and that the University of Dhaka can feel proud to count with two Bangladeshi local teachers teaching a language as the Spanish. Nobody, I guess, found a relation between what my student said and what Mr. Arefin Siddique commented. So the meeting finished as nobody more had anything more to say, with the conclussions of retaking the contact with the students were out of admission and with the idea there was no separation between both centers, our Department and Inditex Chair, as we both taught the same language and we were not three teachers in the first and four in the second, and we werw a staff with seven teachers, eight counting to Amparo Rivas.
